Let the Wild Rumpus Conclude!

This photo was snapped by Rob at the end of this week's Epic Teen Club. With midterms looming, it was a smaller group than we get sometimes, which was perfect for our game setup - some rock paper scissors, thumb wars, and coin flip shenanigans [congrats to Brodie on the win!], throwing around a ball while furiously naming movies, silly burping and singing games, scatterball, a drawing club, a side of Smash Up, and a healthy schmear of pinball! Smaller groups are  my favorite because we have so much time and space to try out everyone's favorite activity, and putting them together is quick and easy. See you next week for more fun times and crazy games!

SCHEDULE OF EPIC EVENTS October – January 2016 – SAVE THE DATES!!

• Friday October 2nd 6-9pm at The Elks Tower – GAMERS NIGHT!

Join us for an evening of video, board, dice, and card gaming!  We’ll have 5 screens, & 5 various video gaming consoles.  Teens can bring additional consoles, controllers, and games to share.  Bring a snack to share too!! ~this event is free

• Saturday October 31st 7-9pm EPIC HALLOWEEN PARTY – location to be announced

Come in costume or as you are! We’ll enjoy a delightfully spooky evening of friends, food and fun!  We’ll have a costume contest, games and activities, and an option to go trick or treating!  Bring a snack to share!! ~ this event is free

• Saturday December 19th 5pm-8:45pm Scavenger Hunt at The Downtown Mall with The Festival of Lights in Old Town Sacramento

Epic Happenings 9/4/15

A rare visit by Youtube celebrity Psy resulted in a spontaneous dance party at this week’s Epic Teen Club. The elusive singer of “Gangnam Style” was much smaller in real life than I had imagined, but his enthusiasm was infectious. We asked him to comment on his experience at Epic, but all he said was “Opa Gangnam Style!”
